Finally heard back from my Postmark Society pen pal, Ces Fabros of "Java Aficionado"! It was great to read a piece of handwritten conversation in my hands, instead of using the usual virtual messaging. Snail mail is slowly becoming a lost art, but is the most special thing because you can hold the person's actual handwriting in your hands.
Besides my pen pal, I've been starting to write letters to other dear friends from college (due to their scattered hometowns). Wrote her a response later that night, and currently am awaiting her reply (since it takes a while for mail to travel across the country)!
